Spruce Sands RV Resort

We spent 9 nights here as “over-nighter’s” and I loved it! We are currently looking for our next seasonal site and thought we could test drive Spruce Sands as we really liked what we researched online and in a drive-by. What an excellent Campground. We have been seasonal not very far from this location as well as another west of Winnipeg. As an over-nighter the sites are really roomy, well kept. Even during Covid we had a super friendly greeting and where escorted to our site and assisted in parking our large 5th wheel. So smooth and easy, even during Covid and social distancing. Sites where extremely clean, level and well kept. We toured the entire campground and seasonals have roomy sites, well maintained and I can say that we hope to be able to get in as seasonals once a spot comes available. This is by far the most maintained campground I’ve seen in my experience in Manitoba. We saw road grading, road dust control, grass cutting, painting, top soil being completed in our short visit. When we needed assistance with retrieving fire wood etc, we were attended to immediately. Just so impressed with the services, facility, staff and friendliness of the regular campers. The beach is also very well maintained and easily assessable. I just love the close proximity to the Årnes Farmers Market and Gimli. I hope to make this our summer home in the very near future. This campground is an absolute treasure. Beautiful setting on Lake Winnipeg. Well maintained grounds and layout. The best part though is the very friendly and discreet service. Congratulations on your 50 year anniversary and I am sure you will see another 50 based on your care.

Beautiful area. Spent time walking and enjoying the scenery. A friend has a cottage there and always enjoy our visits. When they have special events try to go and enjoy

Great beach for swimming or just wading in...you can bring your paddle board or boat/canoe/jet ski. There are showers and laundry facilities but they cost extra. You need to secure a cabin in advance if you plan on staying a day or more. Not sure if there are trailers available to rent...they are privately owned. There is one small store and restaurant near the beach but best to pack your cooler or shop in gimli before hand.

Great store/bakery/restaurant/ice cream stand.
Nice beach.
And everything is CLEAN!!!!!!!!
