Oakridge Greenhouse & Garden Centre

The food is great. Watch out for plants with fake flowers in the greenhouse. Bought a cactus not noticing the fake flower from the greenhouse. They wouldn’t provide an exchange or refund even though my overpriced plant is likely now damaged from hot glue. Why they would even do this in the first place is beyond me. Restaurant is great. Won’t be shopping from the greenhouse again.

This is my regular stop every Spring for gardening/landscaping supplies, trees and plants!
The staff here are always friendly and helpful! I'd very much recommend this place to everyone. ????

Had some tea with the raspberry white chocolate cheesecake and it was delicious. Nice atmosphere and it was a quiet night not too many people.

Spring and summer time is a wonderful time to explore this place since the green house is open and in full swing. This past year when visiting for lunch I had the pleasure to try the corn chowder. I was pleasantly surprised with the balance of flavor and a little spice. The esspresso's coffee's and tea's are excellent quilty. Even get tea by the pot. The fact that you can take a stroll through the green house and plan out your yearly gardening or herb patches before or after coffee is a nice relaxing touch. Especially if you and the misses disagree on something :)

Oakridge is a lovely place to go for coffee. We went there with a group of 10 ladies for a birthday party on a Monday evening (7:30pm). I appreciated that they took a reservation. The atmosphere is lovely with all the decor. It was really full of people so a bit loud in there and tight, but worked none the less. My only complaint is that they were running out of desserts. There was very little left to choose from. Would be a nice idea if they kept some in the back to restock after a while. I was told by my friend that this is always the problem here. The food that I had was really yummy though.
