Bay River Inn & Suites

Crews from our company stayed here for 3 months this winter. The rooms were clean, the kitchens were fully stocked to make meals, and very comfortable. Also, when plans changed some days, and rooms had to be cancelled or re-booked, dealing with the front desk was a breeze. Confirmations were emailed very timely and professionally. We definitely recommend this hotel if staying in the Fisher River area.

All floors were dirty and dusty like it hadn't been vacuumed/moped. Microwave, drawers and walls needed a good wiping down. Base of lamps were covered in dust. Ledges in bathroom at bottom of walls were black from dirt. Mostly the room just needed to be thoroughly cleaned. Room was a bit small due to the layout and whoever made the floor plans didn't account for the extra closet when it opened and the extra space in the bathroom that could have been used for the room itself. I'm guessing this might have been a first time project or they utilized a company that didn't really care how they built the rooms. However, the check-in staff was friendly and changed the cable box as soon as we called him. The internet connection was slow the first night but was faster the second night. They offered a continental breakfast but did not have it open due to covid.

Stayed here for two weeks on work. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and the area was quiet. Bathroom was super big. Room had a decent size mini fridge and a microwave.

A nice place to stay while out exploring Manitoba. We had the suite which had a nice kitchenette with all the dishes you will need. The only thing was that we found sunflower seeds in the bed, and they only provided two towels. Most places provide at least four towels, and then a few wash clothes. Overall, a good place to stay.
