Good food, an all in one place. Service was lacking possibly because it was a Sunday. Beer was cold and people were friendly.
Great service on the long weekend. Handled the crowds and COVID restrictions really well. Thanks!
The food here is always excellent. Definitely try the homemade soups. Never had a bad meal here and service is always great. The store has a great selection of snacks and things u may need for ur trip or may have forgotten to bring. I've never stayed at the hotel so I can speak for that. U can also stop in at the lounge which is a nice place for a meal and a drink. I liked the decor as well.
Edit, just left the restaurant tonight. Again service was great. Had a screw up on our part on the order and was taken care of promptly and generously. I love Drifters as one of the reliable, full service stores on the way to my cabin with complete, full amenities and I stop for even an ice cream on almost every trip. Gas prices are compareble to...I guess regular city prices, too. Was within one cent when I drove by tonight. I haven't stayed at the hotel but, it nicely clean and I'm not a bit. My name is Dave, and I'm just a just a cottager passing by twice a week.
We have been staying at Drifters for many years. Room was good. After a day on the water a comfortable bed is lovely. Food is good and lots of it.
Decent rooms for a couple of nights. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant. Down to earth, nothing fancy but all the amenities. Rooms, bar, restaurant, convenience store and gas.
