Prairie Homestead Weddings

I'm a full-time wedding photographer & have had the pleasure of working with many venues in the past. Last weekend was my first wedding with Prairie Homestead and they are a top tier venue! The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The Heinrichs Family are genuine people that care deeply for their clients and do everything they can to make sure your wedding day runs smoothly! I cannot recommend this venue enough. It was an honour to work with this team!

This venue is truly amazing! They made us feel so special throughout our wedding weekend. From helping us set up on the Friday, to making our Saturday run so smooth, to having all decorations down on the Sunday. The guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the venue and staff were. Our wedding day ran smoothly because of them.

I am so happy we booked with them. We booked with them in March of 2020 but had to push back our wedding day a year later because of covid. They were so understanding and made the process easy. I would book with them a 100 more times, this venue and family is truly special.

Just went to a wedding at this place. I found it to be a wonderful experience. It was a very warm day (30 degrees) it could have had maybe a few more fans in the eating area but it was still bearable. The Chapel building was well ventilated and despite no fans that I could see, was still bearable, don't forget you're also dressed up so it doesn't hurt to adjust your clothing choices based on the weather forecast. The whole atmosphere was awesome and being in the countryside you have farmers fields and tree lined property to enjoy.
The washroom facilities are well updated and clean, I didn't see any issues. The acoustics in the eating area may not be great but only adds to the atmosphere depending on how you look at it.
The advantage of a venue like this is your not stuck in a building. There is a place to lounge outside and still feel a part of the occasion. I would make a suggestion to the owners to have a billboard of some sort on Hwy 14 for location purposes.

Loraine will be your fairy godmother all day, helping in any way she can to make your wedding day absolutely perfect. They go above and beyond, from beginning of your wedding planning to the end of your wedding day. I looked at lots of other venues and no one else provides as much help and as many services as they do! I cannot recommend this venue enough!!!

We loved having our wedding at Prairie Homestead Weddings. They are a family run business, who all are amazing and genuinely care about making your planning process and wedding day the least stressful. They went above and beyond to ensure every last detail was thought of! The venue is beautiful, rustic and includes tons of beautiful decor in the price to use your wedding day! It was amazing being able to set up the day before the wedding, and finish clean up the day after the wedding. They let you take your time, so no time goes to waste on your wedding day. Highly recommend this venue and the family running this business!
