If you pass by you have to stop and check this place out have an up & Atom kombucha ;) shop awesome local made gifts and all kinds of products available long live the barn!
Went here for burnch!! And while waiting for our food to come, we play Crib!! It's a nice and cozy place to eat as you enjoy the view of the mountains (Riding Mountain National Park). I love the fish and chips and their chicken souvlaki pita!! Plus, it was my first time having nanaimo bars; for dessert!! Perfect meal!! Will definitely go back again..
A very awesome little shop! I was running low on fuel and had to gas up. The Barn was the place for me. I rolled in, and the owners son pumped my gas enthusiastically, I explored the shop. Found an eclectic mix of Manitoba made products and probably the best Kombucha I've ever had made right here in Manitoba. Baught some local cards, too. I didn't try the food, but I was told I would have to come back and try it. I will!
So I'm all about the hotspots. So much so that I reserve reviews for exceptional experiences only.
This is definitely one of them. So much more than a gas station, The Barn offers chic country surroundings, and a unique gift store that even had live greenhouse clippings as centerpieces for sale the day I stopped in... and don't forget to walk to the back to enjoy an incredible restaurant experience at Farmers Daughter with seasonal and everyday dishes. Ps. The Pizzas 🍕 are divine. So memorable I would drive an hour and a half for datenight. Kelwood is one happening place, so don't just drive by! Stop...you will be glad you did!
Gas is gas, but the shop has lots of convenience items, interesting drinks and art for sale. Washrooms are clean. Attached restaurant is a separate business and very good.
Restaurant: Homemade pies (options during our visit raisin, apple, saskatoon); Salad that came with meal was very flavourful; Menu includes, burgers, pizza, sandwiches, chicken fingers. We had the daily special.
