We have had dinner and lunch here before and the food was amazing. Today we stopped in for breakfast for the first time and were not disappointed food was hot fresh and delicious. We will be back.
We had the Royal burger daily special and the Jager Schnitzel- both were mediocre at best. The Schnitzel was over-cooked and over priced and the burger was underwhelming.
We stopped here for breakfast. The food was fantastic!! The restaurant was really clean.
The tacos, spring rolls and schnitzel are AWESOME! This place is definitely worth stopping at for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Why? Because the chef uses roast shredded beef in his tacos, his spring rolls are handmade with lots of pork and the schnitzel is melt in your mouth, crispy brown and delicious. You won’t be disappointed. Tasting is believing.
If you knew me you'd know how fussy I am about restaurant food as a past chef. This place gets 11 out of ten. Talk about family restaurant: everybody working was a parent or child. There are absolutely no complaints unless you count portions that leave you requesting a doggy box. The homemade fries are crisp on the outside no slimey, oily, mushy ones in the bunch. They are fresh and tender and perfectly ready to resist being drenched in homemade gravy or chili. Their burgers are homemade pure beef no fillers, perfectly cooked with multiple varieties of specialty toppings. They offer several appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, dogs and full dinner dishes. On entering we'd all 4 eyed the homemade desserts including decadent looking cheesecake and a chocolate brownie that gets topped with extras but alas we had no room left even to finish our meals. The 5 of us ate and had a pop or milk for a $100 total including taxes. We'd gone to St. Malo Beach for the day and stopped in St. Pierre Jolys on the way back to Winnipeg. Oma's is right on the east side of the highway but dont blink you'll miss it, which will be truly disappointing. Definitely will become one of our go to choices.
