Great routes, supportive office, well maintained equipment and decent pay. Definitely recommend.
I love this company l never been there but l always follow it on internet
From the beginning of the recruitment process to start work for this great company, they do they job very professionally and treat people with respect. Routes to California is one of the best routes, where you enjoy the natural beauty of the US and Canada. Like they say from palms trees to pine trees. 🌴🚛🌲The equipment is very well maintained and the Kenworth truck is one of the best trucks. You will not mistake if you become a member of the Agri-fresh family.
Working with Agri-Fresh over the past year has been overall and excellent experience. The main concerns with choosing a company to drive for is typically equipment and the relationship with dispatch. The equipment is very well maintained and most concerns are taken care of quickly, even as small, yet significantly important, as wiper blades are addressed as soon as possible. The fleet has new and newer Kenworth 660 and 680s with several automatics and with very well maintained and clean looking trailers.
Working with dispatch has had its small hiccups as with any company but I believe Agri-Fresh stands apart by actually working hard to achieve a good balance between the business demands and the drivers needs. In my role I have chosen to live in my truck and found being away from home as much as 4 weeks which is perfect for what I want. Other drivers are home more frequently but the business demands are as such that you're not usually home every weekend like some companies. The runs are not scheduled per say but typically extend from western Canadian cities to southern California or Arizona with ample time available to stop for meals, have a shower daily, and still have a good sleep most every night.
Not every company driver is going to have a great experience like I am having with Agri-Fresh because there needs to be a correct fit and for me this is a great fit. Before I started I spoke with Kevin Small, the owner at length to see how we would fit together and he's honestly a great guy operating a company the best he can and being very successful at it. My initial impression about Agri-Fresh conveyed by Kevin is exactly what has been my experience, no promises made and unkept.
I haven't had experience with many long distance companies over the past 20 years of driving but listening to other drivers concerns and grievances I would say Agri-Fresh is definitely among the best to work with, again, the important thing is a good fit for both parties and Agri-Fresh fits my needs well.
As a 2 Million+ mile owner op and going on 20 years here at Agri-Fresh, I can attest this is a great place to work. Since we specialize in hauling produce out of California and Arizona, I like the lanes we run and we have great customers that keep us busy. The team in the office is professional, organized, courteous, and do a great job providing the drivers the tools necessary to keep rolling and be successful.
