Walk In Connected Care @ Access Winnipeg West

I went in two days in a row, the first time was for a rash that they identified as poison ivy and gave me a cream for. I went in again the next day because it had gotten worse and I was in extreme discomfort, they gave me some medication to assist with the itching & discomfort as well as a stronger cream. Both times I was seen quickly and all the staff was very kind and helpful. Following my first visit I received a call in the evening to clarify some information on my chart, while at first I thought this wasn't necessary, it proved beneficial when I returned the next day.

I think that the quickness at which I was seen & treated is in part due to the fewer patients due to COVID. Despite only taking one patient in at a time, I still didn't wait very long, in fact when I went on a Saturday morning, I was the only patient. The staff was great at ensuring guidelines for COVID safety were met, and I was happy to have to wait between patients if that meant that rooms could be cleaned between patients.

Fantastic nice people. They squeezed me in even though they were at capacity and I was grateful. They have a tough gig and if you treat them with respect it can go along way
