(January 10, 2017, 2:46 am)It's an Amateur Radio (aka Ham Radio) for Senior Citizens. Don't let that put you off; if you are interested in Ham Radio you can drop by and someone will be happy to answer your questions and you may even be able to use a radio. They have some very odd hours, not open at night or on weekends, so phone ahead. Ironically for a club for Senior Citizens it is located at the top of a steep set of stairs (no wheelchair access) in the old St. Vital Fire Hall.
They also have a little museum which is really just a room full of old electronics, interesting if you are in to that sort of thing or just want to bore a teenager to death as punishment. -
