Sams Restaurant

I pulled into here purely on speculation. The staff was friendly and happy. The menu has decent pictures and good descriptions of the fare.
The menu is primarily German cuisine. Schnitzel is the house special. They also produce large sandwiches.
I had the Arizona sandwich 5/5. Excellent my next visit will include a Hunter Schnitzel.

Great place! Was nice and clean, never thought anyone could scrub the Robins Donuts mess, but the owner did a great job. Colour scheme and decorations were nice, place was a great temp.

Came just after lunch rush, server was fantastic, owner was walking around as a server as well, and checking on people. VERY friendly, even took it upon himself to ask if the sun was in another table near us' eyes, and drew the blinds for them.

Food was great! Had the pork Shnitzel with hunter style sauce, everything was wonderful. Shnitzel was tender and not too crunchy, fries were fantastic, the portions were good.

Overall, very very impressed! Listened in on the owner talking about how he's from Europe, only been in Canada for a few years. And already has a great restaurant like this? Good on him! Will definitely be coming back.

The place itself is super well presented, really like the atmosphere! The staff were fantastic, very attentive and friendly even though we weren't eating in.
The fries were GREAT, some of the best I've had in a long time. The burgers though, while good and tastey, just weren't at the same level as everything else.

What a lovely place! Mother and I always pass by this restaurant on the way to our aunt’s house and decided to give it a try. Our server was nice and sweet and the owner was so kind. We went here on May 9th in the evening. The food on the menu looked super delicious 😋

Pros: You have the option to dine in or take out. The place was overall clean, felt home-y, family-oriented type of vibe. This place is also kid friendly for foods (like burgers, fries, chicken sticks, etc.). It’s also noted on their menus that they have specials Monday to Friday from 11:00am - 3:00pm. We missed that window as it was around 5:30ish pm when we were there.

The foods we ordered were:
Fish and potato salad $14.99
Classic burger with extra cheese for $1 (and you can select what toppings etc. you would like to put) $6.99
Onion rings $5.55
Apple pie $5.50
Whipped cream in a cup on the side $1 (as mom didn’t want this to be melted from the apple pie)

Our total meal between two people cost $39.23 and we gave a tip as well as the service we had was awesome while we waited inside. Well worth the price! Everything was delicious, hot and freshly made! The owner even gave me some of my childhood favourites of Double Bubble bubblegum before we left 😄

Cons: Nothing so far, but I’d definitely recommend to family and friends and will come back soon for sure 5/5 ⭐️

Sam's is a one of a kind gem.

I stopped in for a quick sandwich expecting a Tim Hortons style meal (it is an old fast food chain spot ) and wow was I wrong.

First the owner who is so amazingly nice greeted me and explained the menu. I ordered take out so I can't judge the eat in aspect.

I ordered the chicken steak deluxe. It was ready in no time. Not too quick but not too long. It was clear this was cooked fresh.

The sandwich was amazing. I couldn't believe how good it was.

I will say the sandwich is not "cheap" but I do feel you get your money's worth and then some and more.

While I was waiting a young woman came to get her food and she explained to the owner how much she loved it as well.

If you skip this place you are missing out.
