I used to only get Takoyaki here but now, they also have a space to dine! I went here for late dinner with my cousin-in-law because we were craving grilled food. This place will give you the Korean Barbecue experience you can watch from Asian Dramas. Food wise, I would say taste is average but definitely meets a good grilled tasting food from the marinade they use. The servers were really nice and accommodating. The experience of a relaxed grill-it-yourself barbecue night with friends or family is there! Lively place and you can tell that the people dining there are having a good quality time. They also have parking space and a convenient location. Overall a good place to go to once in a while.
It's personally my first KBBQ experience and I have to say, it was an okay experience! The serving sizes are small which is perfect for all you can eat which KBBQ normally is. The food was fine and they have a helpful chart to explain how long to cook each item.
The dining area was alright, a bit unappealing in general with empty shelves and lots of unused space but overall it was adequate. Wouldn't settle on this restaurant for anything nore than a casual eat every now and then due to this.
The patio needs to be maintained as it's seriously weathered which makes it look pretty tacky.
Our first time here was for an impromptu date night, and we absolutely loved it! The staff are super helpful and kind, especially considering this was our first experience with Korean BBQ. 🥰
And the food!!! OMG. So tasty.
To top it all off, it was super affordable with bottomless refills for the all-you-can-eat option. Make sure you call ahead and make a reservation, as they are always super busy. ❤️
Overall experience was good. The server was pleasant, and she did a good job explaining how it works. The BBQ was fantastic! I wish they have more food selections for all you can eat menu. Everything tasted great! 😋 it's nice to have a second option at the end of the city. There's room for growth, and I think I'll be back soon.
1. Time: I see many reviews about being rushed out, but note that they've increased their allotted time from 90 minutes (1.5hrs) to 120 minutes (2hrs). We still felt rushed even though that time includes all the waiting periods for your food, and you'll be charged extra if you don't finish it.
2. Price: it's $30 for dinner, all you can eat, compared to IGI, which is about $40 now.
3. Quality: it's good decent quality meats, vegetables, seafood, and sauces.
4. Variety & Quantity: This is where you'll notice why IGI cost more because you get a longer list of vegetable, ice cream, tempura, rice, and sushi. This place has a decent list, including beef - bulgogi, short ribs, beef, chicken, pork, mussels, scallops, and vegetable. They also have shrimp popcorn and deep-fried dumplings.
5. Space: it was clean, and since it's newly renovated no gross splashes on the wall. Also, there's enough space between seats that you won't hear your neighbor's convo.
