McBeth House Centre and Park Trail

Beautiful little area. Looking forward to having our get together here next year.

It's nice taking a walk at the park trail and be surrounded by giant cottonwood trees.

I walked along this trail system on April 3, 2021. The trail starts from McBeth Park and is paved at first. It leads across a foot bridge and to the banks of the Red River. There were nice views here. From there, you can go left or right. The trail to the left continues to be paved and leads through a peaceful forest with giant cottonwood trees, to a residential neighbourhood where it ends. I turned around and continued along the path to the right of the junction. This path was dirt and was a bit muddy in some areas but manageable. It followed more closely along the river and had some more nice views. Then it led along a paved path through a residential area with some gorgeous houses.

I really enjoyed this trail! It was peaceful and pretty even in the spring and I can’t wait to come back during other seasons and when the trees are more lush.

There is a really beautiful trail around the McBeth House Centre
There isn’t a sign for the trail and it’s route. When we arrived, it took us a minute to figure out where the trail started from.
The hike is relatively easy. It was super muddy as we went in early March but there were many birds and beautifully aged trees.
There was a bench high above overlooking the River. Great scenery.
