Jan was great to work with and our 90 year old floors came out looking like new.

Jan repaired and refinished hardwood floors in 3 bedrooms and a hallway. The work was done in August 2019. Not a day goes by that I'm not thrilled we got the work done. The floors had been screwed down in places, water damage, cigarette damage; and decades of wear and tear, they were in rough shape. The repair work is perfect and the refinishing looks as good today as it did two years ago. Jan wasn't the cheapest quote, but he was in the ballpark. Do yourself a favour and go for QUALITY! We are glad we did.

Jan did an excellent job repairing and refinishing a mix of maple and fir in our house. He was able to tie in new wood where needed to match or highlight the existing flooring.

He met with us ahead of time, and we were able to discuss finishes that served our needs.

He was punctual, and put extra work ahead of time as well as working extra hours when needed to get the work done as scheduled.

He clearly prides himself in his workmanship, and we were very happy with the finished product.

Yawn Flooring did an excellent job on our red oak floors. They turned out beautiful. Jan is professional and truly cares about his work. I highly recommend him.
