Brio Townhomes

The area is good, but the rent is on the higher side, there is a bus every 20 minutes for university so that a 👍. No convenient store or market at walking distance so if you don't have a car it's hard to do groceries.
Pet friendly, has good parks in Bridgewater area for. walks, kids playarea right next to the building

The townhomes are expensive for what they are, pretty basic and cheaply made suites but they rent a 1 bedroom starting at 1375 plus utilities are extra. The contractors put on the bathroom towel holder on wall, hand towel holder, and fridge handles very loosely so they fell off when touched. Washer leaked often, etc.

Maybe if they added some nice features like a fireplace .. better appliances or if it was bigger than 700sq.ft with utilities included then it would be worth it? They're trying to make it look like it's an upper class place to live in winnipeg when it's really not.

Parking was not great, if you have a truck it leaves you almost no room to get out - and if you need an extra parking spot you have to get on a waiting list which is very long.

Gym area was nice to have. I found Giselle pleasant to deal with.

95% of tenants have yappy dogs that aren't socialized so will lunge at yours when walking by, I had 2 people with their unfriendly dogs walk right up to me nose to nose with my dog without permission, they would just laugh that their dogs were aggressive. could have ended very badly considering the size of my dog. People are clueless about training or understanding dogs here which ultimately made me decide to move out.
