(March 18, 2018, 10:30 pm)I visited the parish for a Lenten Vespers service. The service itself was a mixture of Serbian/Church Slavonic/English. The choir sung beautifully and the iconostasis is one of the best in Winnipeg. Following the service one of the Serbian parishioners introduced himself and pointed out that they have a piece of St. Lazar of Serbia's relic and spoke to me about Serbian history. The parish also provided a small meal afterwards where I made the acquaintance of the priest Fr. Sinisa. Fr. Sinisa is a very friendly and welcoming man being happy to welcome the guests to his parish. As the guests were seated many of the Serbian parishioners seated themselves with various guests demonstrating their hospitality excellently. My experience was exceptional and I look forward to visiting the community again.
