Chungchun Rice Dog Maples

To be totally honest, I think the cost of a hot dog is pricier than it should be. However, the food was so good that I couldn’t even complain! The custom seasonings and dressing that you can add makes it fun, and the general vibe of the restaurant is so cool. There’s posters along the walls of different seasoning mixtures, fun music playing, and Asia City right beside it!

This place is awesome. I used to get these in Toronto all the time and I’m so HAPPY I found a place in Winnipeg. The only con is that it’s in the north of Winnipeg and I have to drive all the way from the south. However, it’s worth the drive.

I highly recommend their rice dogs. The batter stays crunchy because of the rice. You can also add more to the batter like chicken nuggets, ramen noodles, potatoes etc. They also have veggie dogs. Their deep fried Mars Bars are great too. I hope that they will open another branch somewhere on Corydon. Their business would triple, if not double

Simply excellent! A large variety of options to meet every appetite and the service was great too! Whether ordering as a meal or snack, these dogs are a tasty treat!

I've been here a couple times now and the Mozzarella Hotdog and Ramen Chip Hotdog are definitely my favorites so far (both of which I topped with spicy mayo). I loved the textures and flavours. I can't wait to come back to try the Volcano and Chocolate options!

The only one I haven't enjoyed so far and won't get again is the Chicken Topping Hotdog. I found this particular one pretty flavourless. It was overly crunchy and that crunch really overpowered everything else.

All in all I will be back and would recommend trying. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, it's always been a pleasant experience.
