I had purchased a gt 3000 10 years ago it worked awesome then it finally died so we purchased a new one same type as we were very happy with the first one we did have a problem with the new one so i talked to them and they sent me a new one to replace it more than satisfied with them as they took care of the problem with no hassle definitely would do business with them again great company.

We were introduced to the pureWash activated oxygen or ozone (O3) laundry system in 2012 at the Toronto Home Show and happy we bought it. This system worked exactly as was explained! We were amazed on how clean our cloths came out without the use of any detergents. I especially loved how clean actually smelled like, instead of smelling the chemicals in detergents and we don’t even need to use any fabric softener! Unfortunately, this original unit only lasted 4 years, which was a far cry from the 20 years that we were told. But nevertheless, we bought another one because we believe in the product, it didn’t pollute the environment and saved us money. But again, the second original prototype unit only lasted 4 years; water started to leak into the oxidizing module.

We decided to buy the pureWash Pro X2 (latest unit September 2021), which has come a long way from the original version. It’s definitely a better built unit; more heavy duty, right down to the metal threads for the hose attachments, a better thought-out design for the internal system, where the electrical components are now above the water lines and a supported electrical adapter plug-in to reduce stress on the wires when it’s plugged into the unit. Kevin Shale, from GreenTech, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about this product and reassured us, it will last for years to come; it’s backed by a two-year warranty and they haven’t had any issues.

The metal mounting bracket, that holds the unit, is not long enough to be screwed into the wooded wall studs, I recommend using a wooded backplate that you could screw into the wall studs first and then the mounting bracket can be screwed into the backplate; I wasn’t sure the provided wall anchors would hold the weight of the unit, better safe than sorry.

The natural odour of oxidation, from the cold water only system, is reassurance that the unit is working. There’s no need for separate loads thanks to their super-oxygenated water process. Our front-end load washer was not getting enough water in the tube and cloths were coming out with some dry spots in our sheets. We pondered the idea of switching the pureWash to the Top Load setting and left a voice message for Kevin but never heard back. After some research we decided to remove the inlet water filter that our LG Front Load washer had and it worked!

I would definitely recommend this ozone laundry system to anyone who cares about our earth and who wants to save money!

I’ve been using the Purewash system for over a year! My laundry is CLEAN, smells great and has very little chemicals! I pre-treat stains, but other than that it’s clean COLD water to do loads of laundry!! Even my millennial sons are on-board with the Purewash system.
