Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport

Very quiet. I expected a little more cooperation from people to be masked during the pandemic, but it was very clean and plenty of room to keep distancing from others.

The setting sun makes drive in movies tricky. We brought a pillowcase to put over the sun visor for extra shade and it worked well. Other than the sun being a little annoying everything was great! ?

Who can say that their airport (and AVentPro) did this for their community?! Ours doing this time of COVID-19 has turned its empty parking lot into a drive-in movie theatre! Thank you so much! Small airport. Flights to USA have a good size waiting area with one place to eat ( urban crave) and coffee places. Two convenience stores. Lots of charging ports which is good. Drinks available and games on tv at urban crave.

For a little city like Winnipeg I was surprised how this airport was built. Its built better than Pearson in my opinion just much smaller. The restaurant selection was brilliant there was a Maple Leaf lounge, a Premium Plaza lounge and a licensed area in the main waiting area if you wanted to grab a glass of wine or a beer before your flight. The facilities were also very well maintained and looked brand new. This airport felt like it was recently built, again very satisfied with my experience here.
