Cilantro's Modern Indian Cuisine

First time visiting. The inside is clean and neat with ample seating. We were served right way and the person was very helpful and assisted with ordering. The food was great! The samosas were tasty and the sauce was as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 ✨️ is we waited about 20 minutes for our samosas. Who knows maybe they were just busy with Skip the Dishes orders.

Customer service was good. Parking could be a trouble at peak hours. We didn't order anything though. Got an emergency call and had to leave.

My first time here I got takeout.
Ordered the cilantros chicken curry. Fantastic flavours well done. I would have liked to see dark meat in the dish but I know lots of folks don’t care for it.
The cashew stew was amazing, creamy and just the right amount of heat.
We will be regulars for sure.

I’ll be honest, the primary reason we went there for the samosas - thanks to the promo for Samosa week where samosas are for$0.50ea (veggie/potato I believe, we took the potato). It was disappointing to know that the deal is only for takeaway so we decided to try other stuff (i am glad we did 😂).
We tried Dahi Puri/Pani (not sure about the name but you’ll see if you go there 😁), Chat Papri and Aalo Tikki something.

On a scale of 10
Chat Papri was a 10, Dahi Pani/Puri was 9.5 and Aalo Tikki something was a 6.

We were out of luck that they ran out of chat papri but it was aamaaaazinggg!!!

Everything was fresh, the taste was amazing, good nice place and most importantly Sam catered us so patiently as we were ordering in bits and Sam was very supportive and courteous until we were finally done. No pictures for the food, i know it’s not fair but we were so indulged in it that i totally forgot that i have to write a review too 😂
But not to worry, we’ll be going there soon and that time we’ll get pictures of the fooooood too 😅

Best restaurant I have visited in Winnipeg. Specially if you are not eating onions and garlic taste is so authentic. You will definitely not miss Indian taste…
