Eddie F El-Yussif, DO

Dr. El -Yussif replaced both my hips 4 months a part. People cant believe I've had them replaced. I tell everyone about him. Excellent surgeon. Excellent bedside manner. He was there in the recovery room and when I return to my hospital room, he had sent flowers! He is on the cutting edge of knee and hip replacements. I went home the same day following some hospital therapy. I went in at 10am and was home by 7pm! I am not kidding! The next day I was scheduled for my outpatient therapy. They couldn't believe I was there for therapy a day after surgery and was hesitant to schedule my appointment. When I returned, I received a formal apology and they apologized for second guessing my doctor! I read all of his journals and accolades in the medical magazines. I recommend him to anyone.

I saw Dr. El-Yussif for knee replacement. I had suffered for many years with no cartilage in my knee because I did not want a doctor who did things the way they had always been done. I continually did my research and in 2016 found Dr. El-Yussif. Dr. El-Yussif is an excellent surgeon who I highly recommend. I am an organ recipient and have various health issues. Dr. El-Yussif consulted with my other doctors to insure I received the best care possible and took time to confirm that knee surgery was compatible with my health issues. Recovery was much quicker with the type of surgery Dr. El-Yussif performed and my knee works perfectly. No pain -no issues at all. I went from thinking about my knee pain continually to not even thinking about my knee. I am finally back to life as it was before my knee problem and I thank Dr. El-Yusif for this. Dr. El-Yusif is very kind, caring, hears patient concerns, explains things in a clear concise manner and was at the bedside after surgery insuring I was ok and checking to see if I had concerns. I would not hesitate to send a family member to Dr. El-Yussif, he is just that good.

Dr El Ussif is a fantastic knee surgeon. He replaced my right knee about 2 years ago and did a fantastic job! I highly recommend him.

I travel from TraverseCity to see him.Which is 300 mIles round trip. Besides being the best surgeon I have ever had, He came recommend by another Ortho surgeon. THAT speaks
volumes. Kind spoken with amazing bed side manners. Totally recommend.
