The Cadillac House

The Cadillac house has been beautifully restored. The wait staff was very gracious, but the food lacked a little bit of flavor. I would not advise ordering the meatloaf. The texture was odd and it was tasteless. However the the chicken and the Whitefish were good.

Walked in for dinner on Saturday and was instantly impressed with the decor and ambiance that beautifully matches the restored exterior of the building. I ordered the lake trout (which isn't something I would typically order), and I was impressed with how flavorful and perfectly cooked it was. Wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable.

Overall a fantastic experience and I'm looking forward to making The Cadillac House a regular destination of mine.

Beautiful building and the bartenders are great. Food is old school comfort style with top notch ingredients. Would like to see maybe some more inventive choices on the menu, but they do what they do well.

Seated next to the kitchen door and lighting a little on the dim side, had to use the flashlight app on all four of our cell phones to see the menu. Understanding that it was Valentine's day and they were trying to create a romantic setting BUT! Service friendly and attentive, dinner nothing spectacular, atmosphere beautiful, history the best asset wish more of it was around to see and read.

Bar staff were wonderful. Ordered a carryout and sat and had a drink while we waited. There were 2 bartenders. They were friendly and chatty & made us laugh. The food was good, the bartender made excellent suggestions. My mom loved the trout, even though she was looking for salmon & my dad loved the burger. The fries are good as well as the butternut hummus. The place has been tastefully remodeled since new ownership, and well as the menu. I would definitely recommend stopping in here!
