(September 30, 2018, 11:26 am)We got the standard hotel room and avoided the suites after reading the reviews. The room was a good size. Our family of four fit fine. It was clean. The beds were not very comfortable, but not the worst hotel beds I've slept in. The bathtub had signs of age, but was clean. The check-in time was odd. When I made the reservation I was told to check-in before 4pm. The day before my stay, I got a call saying that check-in was between 3 & 4pm. I had to call back and explain that was not possible for me to be there at that time. They told me I could check-in before 3 but a room might not be ready. It worked out fine, but I thought that was an odd policy. They don't have any staff there after 4pm.
(August 26, 2018, 8:49 pm)A little disappointed the restaurant was not open so had to be served in the bar/lounge area. We had a lunch of perch tacos with a side salad. The food was hot and tasty. It was not busy. We will return when the restaurant is open. It should be a much nicer atmosphere for a dinner.
(July 29, 2018, 11:03 pm)I golfed 9 holes here on the South course with some friends and it is a nice, reasonably priced spot if you find yourself in the Lexington area. The grounds are well kept, offering just enough challenge for my novice group of players. Plenty of forest and trees so it feels somewhat secluded and includes many shady sections to park your cart if you don't want burn butt. The staff was friendly and there was a cart girl making the rounds, selling beer/gatorade/water along with a variety of snacks.
(July 4, 2018, 9:07 pm)Played 9 holes on the South course. Wasn't crowded at all and we had a great time! Everything was in beautiful shape the carts were reliable and fast and we enjoyed ourselves. We had hot dogs and beer from the snack center, but gage had dinner at the restaurant before and it was fast, friendly, good and the service was excellent. Great place to enjoy abs afternoon or evening!
