This is a very nice beach and park located on Lake Huron. The beach area is small, and the recent years have taken about 80ft of sand away from the shoreline due to higher lake levels and storms. There are some rocks walking out for about 10 ft, but the rest is sand and one can easily enjoy their footing. There are some picnic tables, bbq pits, and a porta john handy. Most of the larger park area has open areas, trees, and adequate parking for the summer weekends. There are several places for kids to play on equipment. There are not showers or running water to rinse off in.
The water has no steel rods in cement, trash, or other metal dumped in the swim area. I snorkel here a lot and have enjoyed this beach with my family many times and have never been cut or injured.
There has not been any issues with the cleanliness of the park and I have always picked up trash when I am there if I see it.
