The owners are teachers and therapy professionals whose experience made things so much easier for me to find what I was looking for and gave me new ideas for resources I didn't even know about. Highly recommended for any teacher or anyone trying to connect with another human.
And the fact that they have lots of books and toys on sale is nice too. Support your local businesses like this lovely one. -

As a new clinician, I found the owner of the store to be so knowledgeable and helpful in helping me select some new toys for my play therapy toolkit. She also went above and beyond to assist me in picking out some books that are perfect for some of the little ones I'm working with. I will definitely be back, probably after my next paycheck! :)

The Self Esteem Shop has the best selection of books you can find anywhere. The owner is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and must read and hand-pick every book, toy, etc. that they sell (which is evidenced by their great selection, and her knowledge and insight about every book that they have). I hope that more people will support this wonderful family owned gem (and help it from being put out of business by Amazon)!
