(February 16, 2019, 5:23 pm)My mom lives at Lake Huron Woods and she loves it here. She has lived here for almost 4 years and is proud to call this home. Mom likes getting together with friends here to play games and cards. She says it is like living on a cruise ship without the water. And living here is even better since the new manager Diane got here. Diane is very friendly and has made a lot of great changes. During morning coffee hour, Diane likes to stop by and visit and answer questions. The holiday decorations are beautiful and a great improvement. Mom really enjoys the holiday buffets; they are delicious with a lot of variety. The serving staff are friendly and helpful. They know each person by name and want to provide a great dining experience. The Activities Director provides a variety of indoor activities(crafts, bingo, wine parties) and trips to grocery, theater and restaurants. All of the staff, including the office, maintenance and food service, are very personable and helpful. Mom loves it here!
