Hillsborough Visitor Information Centre

Clean, bright building with a collection upstairs of interesting artifacts from the area. Lots of information available but hours and staffing are pending on the time of year.
Parking, public washrooms, new playground, picnic tables and some craft/food vendors on site.
Beautiful walking trails here, passing duckponds, and access to views of the river. Great for birdwatching.

La jeune étudiante qui effectuait ses heures de bénévolat n’avait pas grand chose à dire sur la région... heureusement que les artisans dans les petites cabines nous parlait de leurs arts.
Bref, quelques dépliants touristiques et réponses apprises par coeur.

The hours vary because all the work here is done by volunteers, who are very kind and knowledgeable about the region. A+
