Barriault Construction & Landscaping

We hired James Barriault Construction & Landscaping in August 2021 to complete a gravel pad and drainage ditch. Gravel pad completed first but was delayed a few times due to equipment breakdown and work to be completed at other sites. We were and are happy with the finished gravel pad. Drainage ditch is a different story. James Barrault Construction & Landscaping began to have employee issues and our drainage ditch completion was in the middle of it. I felt that our drainage ditch was not completed properly but what do I know. The following summer the drainage ditch did not seem to be draining as well as it had so I started to get concerned. The remaining summer was hot and dry so no concerns. Early fall, and a few rainy days and my drainage ditch concerns come back. October 26th 2022, I call James Barriault and told him of my concern. Asked him if he could drop around and check things out. He replied he could drop by the next day but most likely the Friday October 28th, 2022. I said great and thanked him. Friday James was a no show. I called James again Nov 2, 2022. Left message on his phone. Nov 4 I found James Barrialt Construction & Landscaping Facebook page. I sent him a message through the Facebook page. 10:11 am I received a message from James asking that I call him back. I called him at 10:14 am. James said his team had been working some late nights and he was glad that I had called. He said he would come by today around supper time. I again said great and thanked him. Again James was a no show.
Tuesday Nov 15th, I called James....call was declined and no option to leave a message. I am sad and frustrated. I just wanted James to come and take a look at the drainage ditch. Have a discussion but unfortunately that has not happened yet. Still hoping
