The wedding cake we ordered was beautiful, delicious and easy to slice and portion. The only thing I would add to make the experience perfect would be to have delivery. Very pleased.
I live a little far from this delightful bakery, but my last visit reminded me that I need to stop by more often ! The displays are beautiful, it's very easy to see the amount of care put into the baked goods. Good variety of desserts, and I feel like the prices are very reasonable for the size and quality. I loved every single one of them, not too sweet, great flavors! The macarons are also delightful and again, the flavors really shine.
I cannot say enough great and amazing things about this bakery!
The owner and head baker is so sweet and kind. She always lets us know when she has something new available. Gluten free and lactose free options are available!
Price point seems reasonable for the quality of product.
The macaroons are packed full of flavour while being soft, delicate and pure bliss.
I highly recommend this bakery for a treat for yourself, a unique gift for a friend or fantastic dessert for gatherings.
Can't wait to go back! Again!
Quality French desserts! Definitely worth the money you spent!
Sometimes, you look at a restaurant or bakery online and the pictures are stunning. But then you go to the business in person and are sorely disappointed. This is not the case with Mimziz Macaron. This is a gorgeous shop; the stark white walls and minimal decoration drawing your full attention to the gorgeous display of pastries. And everything on display looks just like the pictures on the website, so I was stoked. I picked up a fifteen pack of macarons - not sure why people think these are expensive - and a blackberry fruit macaron. I also chose multiple honey cake and tiramisu so there wouldn’t be any fighting later, but limited myself to one each of eclair, Paris-Brest and salted caramel craquelin pastries. Everything was so beautiful, I wanted more. So, I’m filled with great expectations and, wow, I am not let down. The macarons, which were not for me, were devoured quickly. I did try a bite of three, and if I were a macaron fan, I would agree these are very good. The macaron fans did not care for the fruit filled macaron, however. I tried each of the five other desserts and would recommend all of them highly. I was most surprised by how much I enjoyed the salted caramel craquelin - a light crispy candied layer that gives sweetness to an amazingly almost-savory salted caramel filling. Seriously, this is the first time I have ever enjoyed anything salted caramel because it wasn’t overly sweet but so deliciously balanced. You gotta try it, but really, no exaggeration, everything was so delicious. Treat yourself and head to Mimziz Macaron for sweet salvation.
