Okay so the sign reads "best burger in town" which it was. But let me draw your attention to that haddock. #@&$()$#@ good. Definitely deserves another night in my mouth. Six ✨✨✨✨✨✨ best food in St Martins
Had an incredible meal at this wonderful little gem of a restaurant in St. Martins, NB. The service 5 star by Charlene. My Fish & Chips was delish. Lightly battered, nice slaw and amazing homemade tartar. My hubby had the smash burger and fries. His goto and it did not disappoint. Thank you for the wonderful evening, we will be back 😀 Cheers
This was a pleasant surprise as we drove by and noticed the burger sign outside. Turned around and came back to check it out. Luckily for us the Bistro had just opened so we were the 1st customers.
Greeted by very friendly hostess and server. I ordered the smash burger and my partner ordered the sausage in pretzel bun.
Now.... this by far has to be the tastiest burger I have ever had. The fries hand cut excellent as well. My partner loved the sausage in the bun...the flavours of these meals were outstanding. Locally sourced meat as well. Top it off with the desert apple of my eye which was very tasty served with ice cream.
Top notch meal, service.
We enjoyed our conversations with hostess and server as well as the chef who asked how our meal was, ended up staying a night in the Eagles nest room on the top floor of the inn.
To sum it all up the overall experience was exceptional, highly recommend it and we will be back.
The dinner of Batter dipped whole filet and Chips was delicious. Best Burger in Town and Poutine were wonderful as well. Yummy warm Apple dessert with ice cream was the topper. The lovely lady servers were so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved their decor as well. We will definitely go again when we are in St. Martin's.
I would just like to say, that a smash burger is very different than a normal hamburger. 5 Oz's is too much for a "smash burger" and these burgers are regular sized patties. A smash burger is very thin and has a crust from the high temperature of the grill. The burgers are ginormous and take up over 70% of the total sandwich. You guys could use 3, 2.5 Oz patties and have a much better burger, it is not a smash burger, it's a massive amount of thick meat between two small buns. The taste is good but the description is wrong and misleading. Smaller portions of meat cooked in the smash burger fashion would make the meal better and also save the restaurant some money. I was mostly happy with my experience, I just want the owners to research smash burgers because I know they could be much better than they currently are.
