First, do not follow google maps. From 11 turn west on Tweedie Road, go about 5 k and turn north on McDonald Rd (there’s a sign). Green Bear Farm is at the end of the road on the left. Honk or call when you arrive. But always call first before heading out.
Now, the good stuff. Everything is organic and the three times we were there Mark had harvested everything that very morning. Over the visits there we got bulb onions, three of kinds of lettuce, turnips, green beans, snap peas, regular peas, sourdough bread, strawberry jam, and several dozen eggs from his grass grazing chickens - they have the most gorgeous orange/yellow yolks and an amazing flavor. As with any farm, what’s available depends on the day.
Mark is super nice and a great guy to do business with. If we stay in Kouchibouguac NP in the future we’ll be sure to see him again.
