Sussex Drive-in

One of the few drive-ins left in NB! It's fun, rates are reasonable for a double feature, sound is projected though an FM channel so there's no worries about broken speakers (unless they're in your car). This is the ONLY way to see a film "out" during a pandemic; from the comfort of your own car bubble!

Downside was that the canteen was very busy - there were a number of reasons for this (promotions, changes in operations due to COVID, etc.) but be aware that you may not be able to rely on it if you were planning to eat dinner there and don't want to miss the movie. I brought my own popcorn, and that paid off!

All in all, though, a very good time, and the canteen does have a fun variety of foods.

I would give them a 5/5 if it wasn't for my last experience. They advertised The New Mutants and Avengers: Endgame the week after playing The New Mutants and Iron Man. By the time I got there that Friday they ended up playing the first Avengers movie from 2012 instead of last year's Endgame. Had I known this I would not have gone back. Yes, movies are subject to change but they should really double check the movie rights and make sure they have the movie before posting it on social media or their website. Aside from that staff is friendly and the facilities are kept clean all night.

Very well organized for events, they even have a 6 ft pole to ensure cars are spaced properly. The concession stand is bright, clean and very well organized! Just wished their FM radio app worked.

We got cabin 312 for the night which included our drive in movie in the price. Movie was great, cabin was great- clean and cozy...had a little mini fridge and microwave in it as well as a roughly double bed and a bunk bed as well. Little fire pit and picnic table outside... small deck as well as double swinging chair on the grass. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the food from the canteen was the absolute worst- my pretzel tasted like dish soap.... the popcorn was wet :/ bleh... cringing just thinking about it. But as for the experience, it was really great:) staff at entrance was very sweet.
