This is my second year ordering from John. He delivered when promised. I ordered 2 cord and I believe the load to be generous to what I have previously been dropped from others. It appears to be dry. I didn’t need any kindleing last year, I’d build a 3 stick house in the stove add a fire starter and 20 minutes later I’d have a nice fire going. Fingers crossed for this years wood.

The best wood you can buy always dry and perfectly cut to size you need which makes it easier to pile

I ordered a cord of firewood from John Steeves at Top Notch. There had been a major storm on the day of my proposed delivery but John called me the evening before. However, he delivered as promised the next day and deposited the wood at the spot requested. This is beautiful dry maple hardwood cut in perfect pieces - not too big and perfect for a stove. He delivered me a cord but it looked like a generous cord to me. He charged me $ 250 delivered. If I buy any more wood- I would certainly do it from this company.
