Fantastic operator and would definitely recommend as one of the top Indigenous tourism experiences in New Brunswick.
Ashley creates beautiful beadwork, but beyond that, she has valuable teachings and a fantastic teaching style. I would recommend her workshops to anyone.
Great customer service, and quality of beads!
I arranged a workshop for our corporate team meetings. Ashley was well prepared and lead an engaging session. We did basket weaving and the baskets that came out of the session were amazing. My colleagues shared lots of positive feedback about this session and many said it was a perfect "brain break" from the focus of the rest of our meetings. It allowed a productive meditation while learning new things.
I was lucky enough to be able to attend one of the beading workshops that Ashley Sanipass led for educators in the ASD-E school board recently. She is not only a talented artist but also a great teacher! She explained and demonstrated several different techniques, and was patient and knowledgable when answering our many questions and requests for assistance. Her beading kits are fun and managable projects that make beautiful pieces you can be proud of.
She also went way above and beyond by repairing a much loved beaded bracelet l had brought along. It was made by an indigenous artist in Ontario and gifted to me by my sister, and it is a joy to be able to wear it again. I highly reccommend this experience to anyone looking to expand their cultural awareness of the beauty of Mi'kmaq art~ thank you Ashley for everything!
