(May 19, 2021, 2:49 am)My Grandmother Dora Isabel Lewis was one of the founders of the church. She passed in 1988 and her
funeral took place in the church. Many
attended. She and her husband Reid Lewis lived at 38 Edith Ave. for many years
and raised their 7 children there. I couldn’t
believe the house is still standing. I remember the house from the last
time I visited when I was 4. I am now 74 and still remember the house and
visiting the baseball diamond that is no longer there. My parents were John and Hilda Peacock both no longer with us. Hilda was the second daughter of Dora and Reid Lewis.
