The road to get to it is not meant for cars, if you have a offroad capable vehicle with a decent height it will be accessible. If not you can walk the 2 kms to get to this spot and it is worth it.
Amazing hidden gem in New Brunswick! The access road is challenging if you don't have a vehicle suitable for off-roading. Low tide is best for seeing the ocean floor and accessing the island. Sometimes heavy fog rolls in which is quite the sight! Weekends have more people camping and off-roading vehicles gathering. During the week you have a chance to have the place to yourself, or with very few others. A must visit for locals and tourists alike!

Great spot, check for low tide times before going.
I’ve hiked the Fundy Footpath twice, once in fall and then again in early June a couple of summers ago. Martin Head is a favourite spot along the hike. I spent two nights at the Quiddy River campsite, and did a lot of exploring downstream at low tide. I walked along the river to Martin Head. While The Eye is the Needle is accessible from Little Salmon River, I think Quiddy River is still the best stop on the hike, even if the Eye of the Needle is the most spectacular.
