SMART MOVERS

I used Smart Movers to move some items from my portable garage into my basement. I contacted them on a Monday afternoon and they scheduled the work for the next afternoon I was told they would call an hour ahead but they had a break in their schedule and called before noon on Tuesday. I missed less than an hour of work including the time to get home and back. I would definitely recommend them for any moving needs.

I recently moved from Fredericton to Bathurst NB. Smart movers in Fredericton were extremely helpful, well organized and professional from start to finish. I initially reached out at a couple of moving agencies and requested quotes. Smart movers was the quickest to respond and provide me with a detailed quote. I paid the exact price that was initially quoted. They were very precise. I only had to provide the logistical information to the company once and they took care of the rest. I needed to move some furniture from my family home in Ontario to my own home in Nova Scotia. Initially, I asked for estimates from many (10 or so) companies and booked with a national company who had great reviews and a good price. However, just days before the move, they cancelled on me. I was really scrambling at that point and hoped some company would be able to arrange this move with only a couple of days notice. I contacted Jeff Smith with Smart Movers in Halifax and he was great!! He made arrangements that fit my schedule. The crew at pick up and drop off were both good -- professional, careful, friendly. Throughout it all, Jeff kept me posted on the progress of things. I also realized that Jeff's initial estimate was the only one I got that included all the fees -- so while it seemed more expensive, it wasn't. And in any case, it was so worth it to have a company who shows up when they say they will!! I have nothing but positive things to say about Jeff, his movers, and Smart Movers.

I was so happy with every part of my experience with Smart Movers. They were the only company that called me after sending a quote, and Jeff explained every part of the quote and asked if I had any other questions. When I was ready to set the date, we arranged times and pickup/drop off and they accommodated my needs, as I was going to be out of town for a few days. The movers themselves were quick and professional, and protected my furniture and belongings. Everything arrived perfectly and the drop off was easy and quick.
