Mountain Mart and Gas

On Thursdays, this Exxon / Mobile store offers $.05 off per gallon of gas purchased, also has diesel, kerosene & propane . Convenience store has restaurant & take-out of subs / sandwiches & bakery. Also has excellent meat counter & walk-in craft beer section. Ice Cream counter opens late spring time.

The store is very friendly and its nice to have a store nearby out around Chazy and Mooers. The one in Mooers has all kinds of precooked foods that's nice when you just simply want a bite to eat and not have to go all the way to Platrsburgh that's 20 miles away and spend more in gas plus save money compare to the high price of fast food in town not to mention it will be cold by the time you get back from Plattsburgh. So again a store near by to gas up, grab a bite to eat and still save some money is an advantage in my book. I stopped in at the store in Chazy and the male employee got my propane tank out from the back of my truck and exchanged it out for me while on a restroom break. I had paid for it when walking inside the store. Being kind and a little hospitality goes far with me. I'm a deep Southern woman that will never get used to people being rude just for the hell of it. Where I'm from people wave at you passing by on the highway or if you have a flat tire someone will most definitely stop for a female or elderly person and assist them. Thank God I moved to Mooers my neighbors are very kind as well as helpful. So Mountain Mart is definitely a nice place to stop at.

The deli meat is one of the better places in the area.

Very nice service, especially to the lady that gave me directions to Lake Placid. She took the time and wrote me everything down. She has been very kind. Thank you, we got there very easily.
