The burgers are first rate. The service is good and friendly. Can't really ask for much more from a great local burger joint!
Was not as long of a wait as expected. Put your name on the blackboard. Waiting was maybe 10 minutes at 5:00 on a Friday. Pleasant wait at the bar. Of course ordered the fish fry. Huge with homemade accompaniments. Plan on enjoying your carbs and saturated fats. Have to every once in a while. Could not finish it. Beyond perfectly cooked. Crowd appeared local. Waitress was friendly and down to earth. Prices are reasonable.. highly recommended.
Burgers were awesome. We ordered the cheeseburger soup for the table, it was incredible. Service very pleased and welcoming even on a packed Friday night. Highly recommend for a great burger and beer. And of course the CB soup.
I've been trying to eat here for years! Every time I've tried, it was roughly a 2 hour wait for which I never ended up waiting. The other day I was driving by and looking for somewhere to eat... as I passed it, I thought it must have been closed because there were very few cars but decided to turn around anyway. Much to my surprise (and delight), they were open and there was no wait! It has a small, cozy, tavern-like vibe. It was early afternoon, just after normal lunch hours, we were seated right away by a very friendly woman, she was very accommodating (and patient) as I had my 2 young kids with me. The food WAS all that it's cracked up to be.... everything was great, from the drinks, to the soup, to the burgers, the fries/ onion rings and they even cooked something special (not exactly on the menu)for my daughters to share....I will definitely be going back (hopefully, next time without the kiddos because that drink I had.... was AMAZING!) and I'd like to have a few more ????
LOVE GROVER’S! This was one of our first Triple D Road Trips and it has become a family favourite. Nothing compares to the garlic Parmesan chicken wings, the cheeseburger soup and the delicious burgers - amazing!!! Definitely worth the trip across the border for us with the great food, service & value. Wish they were open on Sundays though.
