Wilkeson Pointe

Gorgeous place for kayaking or swimming. They even have an amazing kayak launch from a dock which is incredible. The beach area for swimming is exceptionally rocky so wear swimming shoes for maximum comfort. (Our feet are used to the soft sand beaches in California). There is a restroom near the park entrance that is best for changing clothes (and babies) if you show up in your street clothes.

Too much to mention. Special, relaxing popular place with room to roam around and take in all the sights. Come see the remnants of Buffalo's past. Enjoy the artwork. Take a photo with the fam in the gazebo. Let the kids burn off some energy on the slide while you take a seat in one of many adironack chairs on the little beach. Come watch the sunset! Launch your kayak or rent any one of several sport modes of transport! Enjoy a soda or beer. Bring the dog and let 'em swim to their heart's content.

Always love coming here, great for the kids! My son loves the slides and then dipping his feet in the water. Fun for the whole family!

What a nice place to go. Beautiful views and walkways. Stopped to get a Hot Dog but only had pizza, pizza logs, pretzels and drinks. Was disappointed in that. Will go back through. Also had a spot where dogs could go in the water but no humans. Great place.

Love this place! So beautiful, had our wedding here and didn't disappoint. Also played kickball here and love how Buffalo is developing and getting nicer day in and day out!
