Custard Corner & Grill

Ice cream was good but very expensive. Priced like a gourmet ice cream parlor but tasted slightly better then a dairy Queen. Worth more but not that much more.

This was standard summer time fare. Hot dogs, burgers, milkshakes. Nothing spectacular but not bad either. It just was. The parking lot was a tight squeeze. If you have a large vehicle be very careful getting in and out of the spaces. THERE IS NO PUBLIC RESTROOM. we only went because we were in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again.

The ice cream and hot dogs were good; however, we were surprised they didn't have some of the staple flavors like strawberry available. Our milkshakes weren't spectacular, and the steak sandwich tasted like the meat was freezer burned. The staff asked how the food was, we informed them. Although the staff seemed genuinely disappointed we didn't enjoy everything, no concessions were offered to us and we paid over $30 for our food.

Had a pretty good cone and the beginning of spring. Was a great way to kick off the season. Price was good, staff was extremely friendly and polite. View of the water was pretty nice with a breeze.

What a great location and selection! Lots of outdoor seating (no indoor) The perfect stop for front park / LaSalle park. Good ice cream, the people serving us ice cream were super flexible about my kids changing their minds, and we did not eat here but I'm definitely going to go back and try their burgers when it gets warmer out!
