Chad Strittmatter, MD

I'm grateful to Dr. Strittmatter - Four days ago, I had to undergo emergency surgery, requiring several stitches, at Sisters' Hospital, I had never met him, and before the surgery he asked thorough questions, was reassuring and had a decent bedside manner. I didn't speak to him after, but I feel great and feel he did a good job - I have no pain or negative after-effects.

Dr. Strittmatter was the on call for my delivery in 8/2016. . As a nurse myself, I am very cautious about my providers and like to vet them thoroughly. However, in this situation it’s not always possible. My first impression was that he was very professional, “all business” so to speak. If you want warm and fuzzy, it’s not him. However, he was exceedingly vigilant and ensured I had no bleeding issues with my delivery. I was informed that he overseees the OB residents as well, by my nurse. End of the day my baby and I were healthy and that’s really all that matters. He was thorough, confident, explanatory, and instilled confidence in you, as a patient.
