When I was in Detox, I was given a choice to come here or to another facility (this was in 2015) I chose this place because I actually grew up right across the street from it. Fellow detox patients tried to convince me not to go because "it was like jail and a horrible place to be".. they couldn't be more than wrong. Addicts need structure and thats exactly what they offer. Your on the go from 7am-9pm M-F. One the weekends you received more of a break from groups and enjoyed other activities. Vicky from Admissions was great and caring. In fact I had nothing but a great experience there and would recommend this facility to any recovering addict. You are given your own room with a fan, desk, bed, dresser, mirror and sink, radio, along with a fairly large closet. My counselor Karen was great. Meals were just ok though. Now, three years later, I am working in a not for profit organization that places addicts in this facility and everything has changed. Now, parents are allowed to have their children over the weekends during their recovery stay. My daughter was only able to spend the weekend. Please don't listen to the hype. Its a very helpful facility. You also go one daily walks, bowling on the grounds, in which, I always enjoyed along with the change to go to a non-denominational church service. Thank you Stutzman for aiding in my recovery. Say hello to the cats for me (they have two therapy cats that are fat and awesome).
