Liberty Hound

The Liberty Hound is situated right between Canalside and the Navel Museum ships. They have a small to medium size indoor dining area and a large outdoor patio to enjoy the weather and look at the lake. They have a full bar with about 10 craft beers on tap.On this visit I ordered the Fish and Chips, and it was fantastic, and quite filling.

Went here with a friend. Burger was great! Sat outside near the water. Waiter was not bad.
All in all a really nice place to take a date!!!

Liberty Hound was my 2019 Restaurant Week pick of the week. It is tradition for me to always make sure I get to at least one restaurant though I happily visit more if I am able. I had a decent level of expectation knowing how popular this place is, especially with it being right in the heart of Canalside. It is always overflowing with happy commotion on summer nights with patio dining on the water and live music sometimes either hosted here or nearby.

This place has the advantage of the waterfront and the sunshine. You can't find a better place to enjoy a drink in the summer while overlooking canal side and the naval park. On this day, we had the extra treat of having live music too. Service was awesome and very accomodating.

Best guilt free restaurant meal ever...fish tacos! And they are amazing here! Tons of fresh veggies and salad on the side. You leave full but NEVER bloated. That is generally what I eat here but my husband and others tell me the rest of the food is just as fantastic! Service is prompt and our server was pleasant, friendly and attentive. Service was fast and the views indoors and out are great! Restrooms clean. Love this place!
