It's only 3 star for the type of resturant but good food for on the run or in the pinch

Checkers on Union was nothing special today. They were under staffed, according to a former employee who was a patron. It took over 15 minutes for me to order and receive my order, two common burgers. They didn't taste fresh off the grill / broiler like they usually do, but I did travel a half mile before unwrapping them. Drive through traffic received more priority than the counter window.

It is okay. Not somewhere I would chose for quality stuff, although not many fast food places have much quality. They do have different items on menu like funnel fries and the stackers which is a ice cream sundae that is stacked with Oreo cookies and fudge or strawberry sauce. Non expensive snack type place.

Yo I didn't see what big homie's name was but he made my party feel EXTRA welcome tonight. Even from over the loudspeaker I could tell he was a people person with great communication skills. I think the manager will know exactly who I mean when they read this! To that young brother, shine bright and go far!

I went here often as I felt the food was more fresh and satisfying than all other fast food restaurants. One day I had old, soggy lettuce in my burger and I've never been back. Thankfully. Fast food is bad for you, anyway.
