Bristol village a home for Mom and Dad it's a beautiful village warm and friendly reception then there's our case management team Bob and Kathleen they are awesome for all your questions and answers Bristol village is a very clean facility I also work here and all the staff here are very caring and loving if you're looking for a place for your mom and dad please come visit and see Bristol village
My Mother has been here for about a year. First she was in regular assisted living and then moved to memory care. Aside from the beautiful reception area and dining room, the first thing that struck me about this place was how clean it was. Every time I visit I notice how fresh and clean everything is. Most importantly, the caregivers are tremendous people. I don't notice a lot of turnover and their hiring practices must be exemplary because theses people are outstanding. The administrative support is also tremendous. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I know that my Mom is content and well cared for and that is a huge relief.
Our mom moved into Bristol Village more than two years ago and we're all very pleased she's there. We looked at a number of assisted living places in WNY and Bristol Village was her/our choice and we couldn't be happier. Mom needs help with certain activities of daily living and they provide it, while allowing her to maintain her independence with things she doesn't need help with. It would be hard to imagine any place with as caring and professional staff as the team at Bristol Village.
The transition of a parent/loved one from their own home and independence is never an easy one. However, Bristol Village has brought new life to my mother. From the beginning of our application process, Kathleen & Bob have felt like family and I know they have my mothers best interest at heart. Every staff member knows my mother and most even know me! It is her new home and everyone makes it feel like that. She resides in a beautiful, spacious, clean 1 bedroom apartment at the facility. She is active in all the activities she is offered, even at 96. She has a special bond with the activities girls. The nursing staff is very caring about her physical well being as well and we love having the Dr. on staff. Transportation to necessary outside appointments is provided so I do not have to miss work. There is a hairdresser on site, which was important to her. They provide cleaning of her apartment and do her laundry, something I feel she deserved at this age. The food and variety is wonderful, she thought maybe she would cook and eat in her apartment and never has because she enjoys the dining room and food so much. She has made many new friends in fellow residents. Everything we wanted and more has been provided. She is thriving there and I could not be happier about our selection and honestly, so is she. After almost 3 years @ Bristol Village, I can say they have made this new stage in her life a very happy time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the care you provide to my mom.
I have run the gamut of Assisted Living Care facilities in the Kenmore/Amherst/Tonawanda/Williamsville area. Toured just about every one. Bristol Village is far and away the best facility for numerous reasons: The staff are fabulous! Absolutely the best and that makes the resident happy. I always see smiles on the resident faces when I visit my Mom at Bristol Village. There are huge variety of ever changing activities on the premises as well as off property. They have their own comfortable van to take residents shopping, to the doctor and on special outings. The place is beautifully designed and IMMACULATE. It looks as if you are entering a well appointed resort when you enter through the lobby doors. Key, for my Mom is that everything is on one floor. Think twice about properties with elevators. They usually do not have a back up generator and I have heard first hand horror stories of residents being trapped on whatever floor they happen to be on when the electricity goes out during a storm. Some people went for 5 days with out being able to leave the floor their unit is located on. The units are spacious. My Mom resides in a one bedroom and is very happy with the amount of space and privacy. You can do your own laundry if you prefer, Common area washers and dryers are available on every wing if you prefer, but the Laundry department does a great job! No lint, no wrinkles! The dining room is exceptionally beautiful and kept immaculately clean. It looks like a real restaurant! Cloth, wine glasses etc. and the food is really very good. It's nice that you can join your loved one for a meal in such a welcoming environment. The outdoor spaces are beautiful! Fountains and beautiful furniture, Resident can even dine outside during the warmer months. I am thrilled that I was finally able to place my Mom at Bristol Village, There was a bit of a waiting period, but it was sooooo worth it. Again, the main thing is the staff, whether it be administrative, operational or direct caregivers, the folks are the absolute best at what they do and I am so appreciative of the kind way they care for my Mom. They take care of everything for the other family members so you really don't have to worry about anything once your loved one is settled into residence. Don't waste your time checking out other places in that general area. None of them even come close to the standards of gracious living that are afforded the residents at Bristol Village.
