I usually don't do these reviews, but it has to be done! I was in town for a wedding and made an appointment at Hamburg Barber Shop with Lindsey ahead of my trip. It was very easy to find, and had a good size parking lot. I only had to wait a short time for my appointment, I was about 15 minutes early. I sat down and it felt like I had been going there for years! Great conversation and relaxed atmosphere! Lindsey did a great job and I really liked the products she used as well. The only bad thing is I didn't have enough time for a straight razor shave, but I know it would've been excellent to go along with everything else. If I'm ever back in the area I will absolutely come back in!

I first started coming here a year ago, maybe closer to 2. I was in a real crisis. I've been looking for a barber or stylist to take care of me in a way that I needed taken care of, not the way they needed me taken care of. I typically like to find a stylist and stick with them, but for several years it has been an issue and the quality of stylist has just not been up to par for me. So I decided to start researching barber shops or salons near me in Hamburg that have the highest rated reviews. When I decided to give the Hamburg Barber Shop a whirl, there was literally nothing but 5 Star reviews. Now I see there's a few others, and they're likely unnecessary. The barbershop is absolutely beautiful. The decor is wonderful, the atmosphere is upscale and elegant, there's TVs everywhere, there's nice seating, and all of the girls are extremely nice and smiley and friendly. I have personally only used Lindsey and I have absolutely no intentions of changing, and I've noticed that many of the other girls have regulars also. The method they used to make appointments is done electronically you can do this either through their website or in person, or you can call, text, Facebook message Etc. And lastly I'm going to touch on the quality of work. I always get a straight razor shave on my neckline and part, which includes a very brief (and welcomed) massage of oils and cooling sprays afterwards. Lindsey has spent countless hours with me telling me how to style my hair, how to wash my hair, how to use conditioner, how I should shave, I mean literally any question I've ever had she spent time answering thoroughly into my understanding. I mean she's actually taught me how to do things without just sending me on my way. I've also asked for her opinion many times, and she's giving me straight up answers. Whether I wanted to hear them or not, she's always told me the truth and I have never ever been disappointed in taking her advice with something. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They always have sports playing on the TV, light music in the background, they have free Wi-Fi, and it's just really an excellent experience. You don't go there for just a haircut, you go there for the experience.

I’ve been on a search for the right barber for me, and my current hairstyling needs. After a lengthy search, and several awful experiences and haircuts later I have finally found the barber I’ve been looking for. To start, there was ample parking space and good signage. The ambiance and decor were both exceptional, I couldn’t decide which I liked better, the ambiance or the decor. Lindsey was prompt, and I got sat almost immediately. When it came time to cut my hair, she took the time to have a conversation with me before she even started, to discuss how I wanted my hair to look. Throughout the cut she asked me how I have been and would like to style my hair, and explained everything step by step on what she was doing and why. Upon completion, my hair is finally looking exactly how I’ve wanted. This is everything I have been looking for. If you’re a guy like me, who takes pride in how he looks, I highly recommend Hamburg Barber Shop.
