Hilbert College

Good small, private college.

Way back in the early 2000's...earned my baccalaureate of arts in psychology...great school...small classes...personalized faculty attention..however...failed to mention to a high school grad with zero guidance...not a whole lot can be done with a BA in psych. Average pay is mid teens...for an eduaction that cost well over 80 grand...so...be wise! Get a medical degree...like your BSN from DYC!

Pros:

Student-to-teacher ratio is roughly 14-to-1.

Professors have PLENTY of stories and real world experience to share.

Lots of personal interaction between students and faculty/staff.

Excellent reputation as a criminal justice college.

Very supportive of law enforcement.

Cons:

Career center is essentially useless.

Expensive for what you get in return.

As an alumni, they will call to hit you up for donations every so-often, even though you are still probably paying back the student loans you had to take out to go there.

Hilbert College has a friendly and professional staff in both the office and the classrooms. Hilbert offers the best Criminal Justice program in NY state. Hilbert offers a variety of programs and is the best college to obtain a Bachelor's degree in the wny area. It's perfect for residents near Hamburg, NY and they have dorms for students from out of the area.

Great school. Extremely small class size allowed for more engagement between the student and teacher. I was able to graduate with a Bachelors in three years and was hired within two months of graduating. A lot of classes were mandatory which were useless for my career but I had to pay for them.
