Orchard Park Senior High School

Like every school, there are pros and cons. On one hand, it is academically great on the other hand they very poorly take care of students with mental disability or behavior issues. Most students do not have a voice. The bullying among all groups is unbelievable. The school does not handle most situations to be best for the student, but easier for the school. Most students with a hard family life who go through a phase will be pushed out of the district and put in Baker, which has a very bad influence on young minds where most become worse than they were. The head principal of the school is a great influence on the students and handles a lot of these problems as much as he can. Orchard Park district is better than a lot better than some of the alternatives but corruption still stands within much of the administration.

The people are decent enough and the food has gotten better. However, some people staff and student alike are so self entitles that it isn't even funny. Also who made senior prom a masquerade when we aren't even allowed to wear masks? Why is STAP COMM, the thing that makes decisions for the student body all students with amazing grades who may also be doing it for college, scholarships, and to keep in teachers good graces? Why isn't it more diverse throughout the student body?

Great staff, caring teacher, quality education. Very fortunate to have attended after seeing and hearing other peoples high school experiences

One of the best high schools if your child is academically inclined, if not, you might end up disappointed. Plenty of opportunities for a child to thrive, and they have an excellent food service program with plenty of healthy options. Not very good at dealing with behavioral issues whether small or severe, and nothing in places for children with special educational needs. These last two issue are why I gave such a low rating.
