The Original Pancake House

The only thing I have ever ordered is the Dutch Baby! I would give them straight 5s but the portions are getting smaller and the prices are too healthy for that! Those prices for a pancake demand perfection in both construction and table service from the wait staff.

I'm pretty sure this place is run by a cult. The food is pretty good, but very simple and direct. They nailed eggs "over medium," which most places screw up.

Eggs Benedict and mushroom omelette were our choice this time, and we were not disappointed. Good portions fair prices and great people

Went to Original Pancake house with my sister and my friend. We were sat down pretty quickly and given waters and menus quick as well. We asked for a few minutes to look over menu; we did not see waitress for about 10 minutes or so. Finally the order was taken and food arrived 20 minutes later; which was fine because it was super busy. Waitress left check when food was delivered. Not once did the waitress ever check in.
Also, we asked for sausage and eggs and to sub home fries rather than pancakes (which came with the sausage and eggs) . We then ordered a side of toast. When we looked at our check we were upcharged for home fries. So we questioned it as we didn’t get pancakes. They then informed us they subbed the toast and not home fries. it would have been the same price if they switch they did actually switch the home fries for the pancakes (we we originally asked) and then the side of toast. There was NO communication of this until we asked. It was not appreciated.
It is understood they were busy and as the food was fantastic, the service was terrible.
Communication is key and we could have been checked in on at least once.

Absolutely love the pancake house! French toast is amazing! So far the service has been good. I go there with my 8 year old daughter. She loves the buttermilk pancakes.
